The Finer Things in Life: We are here!

It was a LONG flight, delayed an hour in Vancouver but with a fast turn around in Calgary for more people and fuel and they must have booted it down to Jamaica we got in only 5 mins later then we were supose to. So up at 3:30 am, flight at 8am with delay, arrived at 3:35pm our time, but wait they are 3 hours ahead so that it now 6:35 pm, customs, luggage and on the bus we left Montego Bay at 8pm! Oh it get's better, we knew it was 1.5 hours to the resort but it was the last night of the Jazz and Blues festival and Diana Ross was in town so traffic was backed up so it was just after 10 pm when we pulled up to the hotel. They at least stopped for beer and a pee break on our way and a few of the crazy guys from Calgary bought some weed. Weed is ofered to you ever time you turn around! We couldn't buy nothing cause we had $15 CAN, and nothing else!
I think we ALL would have been fine if the food on the plane was not so awful, Wong Wing Deep Fried Chicken Ball w/ Veg Fried Rice, tasted like crap and even better was the taste of the microwave dish it was cooked in permeated the food. It was just WONG, LOL! They gave use a Tortilla with Beef and Cream Cheese later on but that was not only not enough food but it was not very good.
Needless to say it only took not even 5 mins to check in we grabbed our luggage and hit the Italian Resturant that was still open for food. I think we ate everything in site we were so hungry.
We went to the Casino to get cash out of the ATM but it didn't like either of Pete's cards... Oh no, this is not good.
The Casnio was small but it was there if you wanted it. We passed.

Our room is great, big, top floor with an amazing view over the grounds and they all have an Ocean view. Love the mini bar in the room, even if I don’t use it, Pete did for the beer which they re-stock daily, me I drank the water *sigh, “pass me another virgin drink please”. Now the beds where and are 2 double beds pushed together for that feeling of a King Size bed, LOL, at first I was not impressed but after one night of peaceful sleep without being mauled I LOVE IT!
