We are here! It was a very long trip, about 22 hours travel time.
Bejing was well...interesting, hee hee hee, almost no one speaks English so asking for help was a treat. They nodd, smile and say ok and walk away, and your still have no clue of where to go, lol.
Just went out to the soy (street) for breakfast and coffee, they could show Starbucks a thing or two on STRONG Americano coffee. Pete and Dom also got a Bolan (sp?) sweeter but very tasty. We just ate Jackfruit, Mangostena, Dragonfruit (this one is pink inside and stains like a SOB)and some very crazy looking things Rambootans (sp?), and these rice and banana things cooked in a bamboo leafs, yummy but a little greasy.
It's very HOT here, about 31 C or 88 F last night when we arrived 2AM. Off to go swimming to get up too 35C today.
